The Medina Azahara site is located 7 km from the city of Córdoba. Upon arrival, we will find the visitor reception center, where we will see the museum where some of the most important pieces of art are exhibited caliphal. We will be able to attend a brief 17min projection in which the site is recreated.
The archaeological site and the visitor center are connected by a shuttle bus (cost €2.5). The use of this shuttle is compulsory as the site cannot be accessed by private car. On the other hand, the entrance to the site is free. For groups of more than 10 people, the use of radio guides is recommended, although their use is not mandatory.
