We offer you an incredible 2 and a half hour guided tour that will show you the best of the splendid citadel of Abd-al-Rahman III, which was destined to be the capital of the new state and to be a symbol of power before the adversaries and allies of Al-Andalus.

visit takes place mainly in the archaeological site, ruins of the ancient city, where our guide will explain each of the stays and locations along the route. We will also explain the political, historical and social context that lived in Al Andalus according to the estancia in which we find ourselves.

The archaeological and artistic value that is hidden behind the walls of the citadel make it a reference tourist spot on the entire planet, which is why we recommend hiring our guided tours in Medina Azahara so that you can know in a unique way the secrets of this great monumental complex.

The Medina Azahara site is located 7 km from the city of Córdoba. Upon arrival, we will find the visitor reception center, where we will see the museum where some of the most important pieces of art are exhibited caliphal. We will be able to attend a brief 17min projection in which the site is recreated.

The archaeological site and the visitor center are connected by a shuttle bus (cost €2.5). The use of this shuttle is compulsory as the site cannot be accessed by private car. On the other hand, the entrance to the site is free. For groups of more than 10 people, the use of radio guides is recommended, although their use is not mandatory.
